There is lots of fun to be had. The Twinning clubs in all the Towns organise events and visits to which they invite people from the other towns. Clubs and organisations in each Town invite those with similar interests from the other Towns to take part in exchanges and competitions. Six or more such events occur each year. The sports and recreational facilities available in Franconville and Viernheim are superb. |

Although twinning activities are run by the Members of the twinning Associations, municipal and European support is given to varying degrees in the three Towns. |

A twinning reunion (weekend) occurs each year, in each Town in rotation, when the Mayors come together and reaffirm the mutual friendship between the Towns. The host Town organises visits and entertainment for the delegations. (2005 Potters Bar, 2006 Franconville, 2007 Viernheim) |

Language and travel is not a problem. English is well understood and Ryanair to Frankfurt or Karlsruhe and Eurostar to Paris mean getting to each Town is less than 5 hours. |
